September 2022 newletter

This is a 9 acre garden which was started from a wilderness in the mid 1980’s.
There are many interesting trees, including mature oaks, a sequoiadendron and a large liquidambar. The garden also features rhododendrons, camellias, and over 40 magnolias. The walled garden is home to fruit and vegetables, and also flower borders.
There is a rose garden and a new enclosed garden with a lily pond, as well as a large pond renovated in 2016 with new plantings.
A woodland walk meanders around the perimeter of the property.
The visit is later in the month to take in the beautiful autumn colours in the arboretum.
